Arrival in Baku – Tufandag – Nohur Lake – Gabala
Arrive at Baku International Airport. Meet your tour manager and proceed toward Gabala, a stunning town surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains. Enjoy a cable car ride to Tufandag Mountain – Azerbaijan's third-highest peak, offering spectacular panoramic views. Continue to Nohur Lake, surrounded by lush forests, and enjoy a boat ride with scenic mountain views. Complimentary Soft Drink at Tufandag Mountain. Later, check into your Gabala hotel and relax.
Gabala – Sheki Excursion – Gabala
After breakfast, drive to Sheki, one of Azerbaijan's oldest towns. Visit the Palace of Sheki Khans, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stained-glass windows. Explore the Church of Kish, believed to be the first Christian church in the Caucasus. Take a photo stop at Sheki Karvansaray, an ancient Silk Road inn. Return to Gabala in the evening.
Gabala – Baku
Drive back to Baku, Azerbaijan's vibrant capital city. Visit Shirvanshah Palace, a UNESCO site showcasing medieval Islamic architecture. Explore Baku city highlights – Old Town (Icherisheher), Maiden Tower, Fountain Square, National Flag Square, and TV Tower. Soft Drink during City Tour.
Baku – Shahdag – Quba
Drive to Shahdag, a paradise for adventure and nature lovers. Take a cable car ride and enjoy breathtaking views of the Greater Caucasus Range. Optional adventure activities (at own cost): Skiing, Paragliding, Snow Tubing, Snowmobile rides. Continue to Quba, a charming mountain town. Visit Red Village, known as one of the world's few all-Jewish settlements outside Israel. Juice at Red Village.
Quba – Yanar Dag – Ateshgah – Baku
Depart for Baku. En route, visit Yanar Dag (Burning Mountain), where natural gas flames burn continuously. Visit Ateshgah Fire Temple, an ancient Zoroastrian temple once visited by Mahatma Gandhi. Explore Gala Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum, a fascinating open-air museum dating back 5,000 years.
Baku – Gobustan National Park – Baku
Visit Gobustan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for prehistoric rock carvings and mud volcanoes. Stop for a photo at Heydar Aliyev Centre, an architectural masterpiece by Zaha Hadid. Visit the Carpet Museum, Highland Park, and the iconic Flame Towers. Baku – Departure
